An Unforgettable April Fools Day Joke

PR Log (Press Release) – Apr 02, 2010 – Many years ago, the speaker on the Swedish State TV News Program suddenly interrupted the news broadcast, for an urgent information from the police.
The Police was telling the public that some mischievous boys had taken the remote control devices of the TVs and went on the streets in
Stockholm, and directed the remote control devices towards the traffic lights and pushed their buttons. This caused the traffic lights to change and a big chaos was being experienced throughout the entire traffic in the City. Police was asking the public never do such a thing and that it would be severly punished.
Upon hearing this on the TV very many people went on the streets with their remote control devices and directed them towards the traffic lights and pushed their buttons! Alas! Nothing happened!
Traffic lights were not effected at all!
Every year, on April 1 the Swedish TV is known for its jokes on the public, but this topped them all!
